Not quite, but it’s close! We are dedicated to permanent reduction. Many patients see little to no hair growth after our full protocols. Our laser treatments will show result after just 3 sessions, but you may still require future touch-ups to stay completely smooth. Additionally, hormonal changes such as aging or pregnancy may cause new hair to grow in.

At Paradise Laser Delray, we do offer laser hair removal for the area between the brows. However, we don’t recommend using laser to shape the brows due to how precise and delicate that area is. For brow shaping, we suggest seeing one of our expert estheticians for a professional wax it allows for more definition and keeps your natural brow shape flawless.

At Paradise Laser, we use a powerful medical laser called the GentleMax Pro, not the weaker at-home devices (called IPL). Our laser uses a strong, focused light that safely targets hair right at the root without hurting your skin. IPL spreads light everywhere and doesn’t work well on all skin tones, but our laser is made for all skin types, including dark and melanin-rich skin. It’s faster, safer, and gives better, longer-lasting results.

✦ Don’t shave or wax the area you're treating — leave it natural so we can assess the hair

✦ Stay out of the sun — no tanning beds or spray tans

✦ Skip skincare products like lotion, makeup, or oils on the area

✦ No Botox or fillers in the treatment area for 2 weeks

For future sessions:

✦ Shave the area 24 hours before so the laser targets follicles better

We might have to reschedule if:

✦ You have a sunburn or noticeable tan

✦ You’ve taken Accutane in the past 6 months

✦ You’re on medications like antibiotics or retinol

✦ You’re currently pregnant

To ensure the best results and a smooth recovery after your laser hair removal treatment, follow these easy aftercare steps:

✦ Cool It Down: If your skin feels warm or sensitive, apply a gentle aloe vera gel or a cool compress to calm the area.

✦ Skip the Heat: For 48 hours, avoid anything that raises your body temperature—no gym, hot tubs, saunas, or steamy showers. Let your skin breathe and reset.

✦ Be Extra Gentle: Stay away from harsh scrubs, retinols, acids, or exfoliants on the treated area. Stick to fragrance-free cleansers, lightweight moisturizers, and don’t forget daily SPF 30+.

✦ Expect Some Shedding: Around 7–14 days post-treatment, you may notice what looks like new hair growth. Don’t worry—it’s actually the treated hairs shedding. You can gently wipe them away with a washcloth or let them fall out naturally.
